Would weed cause Phantom smells?

Postby clifford » Tue May 08, 2012 6:01 am

on most days there are short time's when I smell burning, and nothing in the house is burning at all.. after doing some research I've learned this may be called 'Phantom Smells'
From what I've read the most common cause for this is a brain tumor, and I'm getting a little worried because I also get random sharp pains in my brain. I've smoked weed on the occasion for a while now, I was wondering if maybe this could have anything to do with the smells?? Please Help

Well the weed won't help anything so stop. Usually brain tumors are going to cause ongoing and worsening pain. Migraine has been associated with olfactory hallucinations (phantom smells) and could cause random and intermittent pain. See a neurologist who can evaluate and diagnose either the migraine or a tumor.
