Here is some background:

Ever since I can remember I have always been a "sleeper" able to sleep forever, if I wanted to, always had trouble waking up for school, sports events, etc, since I was in middle school.

I've had blood work checking my thyroid, and for diabeties (my aunt and grandfather had it) and nothing has come back unusual.

I am now 22, and my fatigue is getting unbearable. I am unable to concentrate at work, and miss out on things because I would always rather be sleeping!

I was diagnosed with depression/anxiety by my doctor a month ago and have been prescribe Cipralex. I got blood work done to rule out any illness that could be causing fatigue.

The doctor went over my results and told me everything was good- blood cell count, liver, kidneys, thyroid, iron storage, not celiac and upped my dosage to 20mg in hopes that it would give me more energy, which I don't think makes sense.

I am terribly worried I have cancer or an underlying very serious disease causing my worsened tiredness. If I had cancer would something have come back in my blood test? Or would it have missed a lot since only specific things were checked off? I have been to the doctor twice in one month already. Do I go to a clinic and get another blood test checking for everything? I'm supposed to see my doctor in 3 months from now. Should I schedule a physical for a sooner date?

Other symptoms feel like I always need to constantly stretch my every muscle all the time. I'm worried I have MS or something else scary and I can never tell what's anxiety and what's real and I'm really scared!

Chronic fatigue and candida.Avoid carbs and junk food.Eat all natural foods.Protein and good fats.L-Tyrosine and coconut oil can boost metabolism.Go very slow with coconut oil as it can casue healing reactions.B- Complex and amino acids are also good.Much of our food is GMO and processed and the soil is depleated.The food has no nutritrition.You need good quality supplements.Get some exercise.

First - trust yourself. If this feels abnormal or wrong, you are probably right. The idea that it's 'all in your head' is crap, IMO.
Almost 50% of women with auto-immune disorders were told that it was in their heads or that they should stop thinking so much about their health, before they were diagnosed. It's an easy way to make the tests more important than the patient.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad. What can cause extreme fatigue and depression and anxiety is a long, long list. Here's a few things to think about.

1. If you don't have a copy of your test results, I would get them. Many times, there can be small clues or odd readings in the test results that you are not told by the doctor because they don't think it matters. Sometimes, they're wrong.

2. I would research all the tests that you were given, because many times, the tests are not infallible.
For example, Celiac Disease tests have a 20% false negative rate (in fact, for that reason, most experts recommend that if you are still having physical trouble, you should try a strict gluten free diet for a few weeks and see if it makes a difference). Many other tests have factors that can increase or decrease the accuracy, or may not be that accurate to begin with, so may have ruled out problems that shouldn't have been ruled out.

3. I would look at all the vitamin levels tests you can get. MANY vitamins can be low, and some of them can affect the muscles and mental function, both. Many are not automatically tested for, as though iron will tip you off that the rest are low. Yet I know many people who had perfect iron levels and had low levels of other vitamins or nutrients.

4. I would look into finding a good allergist to test you for allergies and intolerances. Contacting a local group that deals with allergies or any auto-immune disorder will probably get you a good rec. They have to deal with the doctors, and with tracking down strange conditions, more than other doctors, and so will be more likely to recommend someone who will listen and not dismiss your symptoms simply because you've been diagnosed with depression or anxiety.
Many people I know with a mild food allergy or intolerance had gastro issues, pain, or mental issues like depression and/or anxiety as their only symptoms. This was the case for myself. Depression for 20 years, and it went away when I stopped gluten after a Celiac Diagnosis. It can happen.

5. So, things you might want to look at: auto-immune disorders, parasites, sleep disorders (these affect your neurotransmitter creation and can cause depression), and vitamin deficiencies.

From expienece you may need to find. Better doctor that will not just prescribe anxity/depresson medication to you . A lot of doctors write out scripts to get trps and such from the phramasutical companies. I had to find. Doctor who was super excited about health and explain every single last detail and symptom to me so I was never worried with her.

The constant fatigue I had for year it found out to b defiencyies in some of the vitamins I was lacking.
My fatigue was so bad that I was have pe narcolpsys sypmtoms of me just falling/ fainting to sleep I am soo much better now and no on any medication. All I had to do was change a daily routine and eat ifferent foods. A good way to see if you are eating good is your eyes you may be eating healthy bt how about good. Gently pull down your low lid if the inside is pale pink to white you are not eating good enough to strength you on the sleepiness daily it should be a bright red color. Also I went to a sleep study ad during then they figure out if you are sleepingcorrectly at night so that you can be well restd by morning . For me that helped and what else helped was me moving every electronic out of my room, tv, laptop everything and associate my bed to only sleeping.

I sugguest 1.) Find. Great passiontate dotor tey are usually dressed goofy... lol 2.) Ask for a sleep study 3.) Ask for a blood test that find all your levels , in viatimis, organs, blood count as well. 4.) For the streching maybe start jogging to help loosen up the mucles and get checkedfor ms or scoliosis.

Sounds like your a little paranoid. its all in your head sweetie you'll be fine. you have major anxiety problem going on! you just need to relax everything WILL be ok. x
