Why do I gag while smoking cigarettes?

Postby paschal » Tue Mar 19, 2013 9:53 pm

I've been smoking cigarettes almost habitually for a few years now, I've always enjoyed them...but since about 3 months ago, I started gag while smoking.

It doesn't happen on every drag, but I still have to try very hard not to gag sometimes. I've never found cigarettes repulsive, and I do not necessarily feel nauseous when I do gag. So why does this happen?

Please, for my sake, do not tell me how bad cigarettes are, or that I should stop. I know that cigarettes are bad for me and that there many toxic chemicals in them. But that does not answer my question so please, save it for someone else.

It's the taste it leaves in your mouth. I have that problem when I get done smoking a full cigarette. Have a drink ready next time you smoke.

Your body is saying it doesn't like what you're giving it. Make sense?
