What Are The White Bumps On My Upper Gum?

Postby Dugall » Sun Sep 24, 2017 8:04 pm

i am a 14 year old boy and i have these white bumps on my upper gum. Some of them are large and some are small. they are on the left side the centre and the right side of my gums. I am extremely worried as i don't know what they are, they could be herpes or maybe mouth cancer. One helpful piece of information might be that i have fordyce spots on my upper lip. This might make them easier to identify. The bumps are also painless. Any help in identifying them is appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you a tobacco user? If so you may need to see a doctor. If not then you may have some canker sores.

Do you do a sport that requires you wear a mouth guard? If so your mouth guard may not be fitted properly. This used to irritate my gums too.
