Is the myth about leaving a water bottle in your car and letting it heat up; causing cancer- is this true?

Water bottle left in car causes cancer?

Well, since myths are untrue, I'd say no. If it's an opened water bottle and left in for a few days, it could have bacteria growing, not carcinogens

Water bottle left in car causes cancer?

It's a myth, but old water left in the car.especially if it's been previously opened might have bacteria that is not healthy...and the heat of the sun could tend to grow the bacteria a bit more... Also there's a myth about expired water bottles being dangerous, but they are still relatively safe ie. they might have a more 'plastic taste' since they've been in the plastic bottles so long... It's not a cancer risk.
