Urgent Care At Kaiser Said I May Or May Not Have Hpv?

Postby Wacuman » Thu Oct 05, 2017 6:50 pm

I'm 18 years old and I've received oral sex from six different girls. 5 of which were all during my sophmore year of highschool.

Two were girlfriends, one was a freshman (virgin) one was a junior (questionable - said to be virgin)

Two other girls were slightly more active.

So that being said, all the experiences were about 2 years ago.

During those years, no signs of anything.

After this I had a girlfriend who was a virgin and hadn't given oral to anyone but me and we were dating for a year and a half. We had intercourse once for literally a couple seconds, and thats about it.

We broke up around mayish, but I received oral from her probably still in april.

Still no signs of anything.

I first noticed in june of a small white bump on my skin inbetween the head and the shaft under the head and I of course was like wtf, and scraped it off and that was it. I recently checked again and it was kind of there but very small, but next to it was a slightly larger one. I did the same thing to the original one and it did it again. I then went about to do the other one but it wouldn't pop and I agitated it and it got raw and red.

So I go to the urgent care at kaiser permanente and this woman comes in a checks. She looks at it for a little and goes thats a wart. It could be hpv, it may not be. I wasn't really able to tell her i had agitated it and had made it red and raw, but she went and burnt it anyway. She was kind of a ***** and didn't make me feel great at all.

I read that hpv is RARELY transfered through oral, and I'm pretty confident that my girlfriend of two years didn't have genital warts.

I've recently had to replace my doctor since I have come of age, should I make an appointment with him and get a second opinion? The other doctor treated me as If I were scum and said I could cause a women cervical cancer and looked at me like she was pissed.

also my first bump was about the size of a freckle.

the second bump is probably the size of pimple

Yes, get a second opinion. Also, there are many strains of HPV. Some cause warts and some cause cervical cancer. Never both. Assuming you have only contracted one strain, then you have a type that causes warts (not a cervical cancer type). This virus will never go away and can be transmitted to anyone else you have sex with. It would be very odd to transfer HPV through oral sex, but it is possible.

Did this woman do a biopsy? Without a biopsy, you could have literally anything from a pimple to herpes. It sounds like she just burnt them off without having a sample sent to a lab. Do see another doctor and get a biopsy done. There is only so much a doctor can tell without getting a piece under a microscope.

Why didn't you opt to be tested for HPV when you were told you could possibly have it? You have to remember, these people exist to provide medical treatment, not to make you feel better about your diagnosis. Go to your doctor and get tested. There's no reason to worry about something if a simple test can rule it out.
