Ultrasound On Thyroid Normal?

Postby maximilian13 » Sat Oct 07, 2017 4:11 pm

There are many discussions in the medical community as to what is "normal" for your thyroid.
They perform TSH T3/T4 testing and unfortunately many people are being misdiagnosed when they are showing results that were once considered within "normal range".
It makes it very difficult for us as patients to be treated.
Having a ton of symptoms and then having a doctor tell you that your test results show normal is very frustrating.
I don't have thyroid cancer, but I do have hypothyroidism and I know how hard it is to have symptoms where the doctor's can't seem to tell you what's wrong.

Do as much homework as you can before your doctor visit.
Use the internet to search for as much information as you can on symptoms, other possible thyroid issues, treatment etc.

Yesterday we had a webinar where we reviewed many different types of thyroid disorders.
Unfortunately thyroid cancer was not one of them, but we discussed symptoms, diagnosis and treatment for hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, graves' disease and hashimoto's disease.
Some of these can also cause an enlarged thyroid.

The webinar will be made available tomorrow on our website at http://thyroiduniversity.com.
Maybe you can find helpful information in the webinar or on our site.
If nothing else, know that you are not alone and there are people out there that can relate.
Feel free to ask questions in our forum or join us on facebook at facebook.com/thyroiduniversity.
We are switching over from our old facebook page so there are not a ton of followers there yet but there will be soon and I can guarantee that someone will always respond if you need some support.

I wish you the best of luck and pray that everything goes well for you in your tests.
