Thyroid Cancer??????????/?

Postby Tryp » Mon Oct 09, 2017 9:02 pm

I'm a 26 year old female and this question is about my 56 year old mother.

My mother has had an underactive thyroid now for a few years. She takes medication for this.

For the past 6 months she has found it hard to swallow especially fluids and feels like there is something caught in her throat. She also coughs when she is eating and kind of goes hoarse.

She gets her bloods done for her thyroid every few months but last week she went to the doctor explained her symptoms and now she has been marked as urgent to get a scan. The doctor couldn't find a lump but found swelling .

My mam won't tell me a whole lot about what the doctor said but surely if she marks the scan as urgent she is very concerned.

My mam is slightly overweight and carries a good bit of it around her neck. She also suffers from depression so she is tired all the time.

All the symptoms online lead to thyroid cancer and the prognosis is so bad its scary. I'm just wondering if it could be anything else at all or should I be preparing myself for the worst here.

All advice/ information appreciated. x

im a 20 year previous guy with thyroid issues, I even have alot of an analogous indications as you. all i'm able to assert is that in case you do have thyroid maximum cancers that's certainly one among the main treatable forms of maximum cancers around. yet to me it doesnt sound like maximum cancers. only take a deep breath, relax, and revel in existence.

A few months ago, I was very sick, zero energy, freezing cold, depressed, weight gain, thought I was dying. I read every word of this Hypothyroidism Revolution program and followed all the advice. My life turned around the first week. I started to feel human again. Within weeks my energy came back and I felt like living again.
