Come back in a year to be tested again , does that mean my chances r increased for colon cancer sense I've had the 3 cancer polyps?

Not necessarily, but he wants you to comeback to make sure that you DON'T get colon cancer. Just don't worry too much about it, since he said he removed the three polyps, you should be fine. It is very rare to get cancer after having all the cancerous parts completely removed.

Yes it means you are at an increased risk that is why the doctor wants you to come in once a year most people are checked every 5 years.
You do understand you already had colon cancer right?


BTW depending on thier locations it may have been more than one primary.
