Teal Gel Ovarian cancer bracelets?

Postby sakima » Sun Apr 10, 2011 4:46 pm

They are teal jelly, like a Livestrong bracelet, and say "It whispers, so listen." Money raised goes to Ovarian cancer. There are other, similar, bracelets on the web, but this one is a bit close to my heart.

I bought one a while ago in Claires or Icing, and I've worn it ever since, but now I can't find it, and I think it came off in gym (we had swimming). I would really like to buy a replacement because I've worn it for 2 or 3 years now. I got it because my Grandmother and namesake died of Ovarian cancer shortly before I was born. I never take it off, except when I'm bored in class and twist it around a bit (The beauty of these bracelets is you can wear them in the shower). I never met my Grandma, but I know tons about her from my family. Even though it's an insignificant piece of silicone, I'm really atttached to that thing.

I've looked around on the web, but none of the stuff I've found matches exactly. Does anyone know where they are still available, if at all? Thanks a lot!
