Should I Trust A Dog Breeder That Charges $200 For Puppies?

I use to breed and sale Mini Schnauzers so I can help you on what to check out when looking at puppies. Yes sometime when the price is so much lower there is a problem with the breeder or puppies. things to do is as following.

1. look at their gums they should be a nice deep pink if the are pale then they have worms

2 if they look pot belly then mostly likely they have alot of worms and sometimes they are very hard to get rid of before they damage the puppies health

3.look at both parents to see if they are pure bled themselves

4 look at the papers and make sure they are fake by rubbing your finger across the letters (if they rub off with the ink they are fake)

5. if tail is docked then check the end of it to make sure the skin covers the end of it and it has no stitches in it

6. look at the puppies skin and make sure it looks health and no flea bits all over it

7. make sure puppies hair is health like a humans hair is

Nope - sign of a backyard breeder and while the $200 is cheap, you will be paying more in future medical bills for a dog with genetic problems.

Have you tried a breed rescue group?
