Hi Dan;

Swim Bladder problems have many possible causes but only a couple of them are treatable. Constipation, tumors, shock, genetic deformity, stress, constipation and infection are all possibilites. Even if the cause is eliminated the swim bladder can be permanently damaged and the fish may not recover the function of it again.
