Prostate Cancer Help?

Postby Ellwood » Wed Oct 11, 2017 10:12 am

My 14 year old has had trouble sleeping this last week because he says he's worried he has prostate cancer, he says this because he has a small delay before urination, but that is it.

His mother has taken him to the doctor and they said that results would be in about a month which I think is stupid, but he is really concerned about it and wanted some professional thoughts on it. (well, as professional as you can get on Yahoo Answers).

Thanks alot

Teenage boys don't get prostate cancer.

It's extremely rare in men under 50, and so rare in young men that there are no statistics available for the disease incidence in men under 35.

Over 80% of men diagnosed with it are over 65 and half of all cases occur in men over 75.

What results is he waiting for?
