Melanoma and Skin Cancer Discussion

Can I Dye The Top Of My Hair A Dark Chocolate Brown And Ombre The Bottoms In One Sitting?

So I have ombre hair right now, but my natural hair color is a light blondish brown color so it goes from that color into a blonde color for the ombre. I think it's good for right now for the summer, but fall is slowly coming up and I want to change it. I want to keep the ombre but I want all of my hair aside from the ends to be a darkish chocolate ...

My Skin Won't Accept Ballpoint Pen Ink?

I've drawn on myself with all kinds of success before, but today my skin just won't hold any ink from any of my pens. I've cleaned it off, put on lotion and let it sit for a while, dried it out... nothing. (I'm also sick, does that count for anything?)

Oh, and I'm not looking for anything like "drawing on yourself will give you cancer blahblahblah", I've already done all my homework on ...

White As **** Can I Get Tan And If I Can How Without Getting Skin Cancer?

I suggest the methods that don't involve frying your skin to cancer (i.e. tanning lotion, spray tan.) Personally tanning lotion is really underestimated but it's good at giving you a bit of color while moisturizing, which gives that 'glow' we all want.

Ways To Tan Without Tanning Oil?

Rene, I can't help myself.
I'm going to offer some stats.

-1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime and it's increasing among younger populations

-If caught early, skin cancer has a 95% survival rate

-If ...

Why Did Early Humans Develop Different Skin Colors?

I know it has to do with the amount of sunlight, but the way it happened seems completely illogical. Dark colors absorb more light than brighter colors, that's why they are dark, because there is so little light being reflected back and made visible. On the other hand, light colors have their brightness because they are reflecting back almost all visible light. So if this is true, then why did our African ancestors develop dark ...

What Is The Difference Between Uv Light And Uv Radiation? Uv Rays?

They are synonymous.

light IS (electromagnetic) radiation . And light propagates along a straight line which we call a "ray".

The psychology is interesting. People get more alarmed with the words RADIATION and RAYS than with light. That's what a bad educational system and scientific illiteracy do, they do not know it is one and the same thing...

Note that the frequency range of light which we call UV ...

If My Skin Naturally Does Not Tan Then Will It Tan In A Tanning Bed?

Just be natural.

No more fake tans. Don't go to a tanning booth. They aren't that safe and with your type of skin (I have it too)...it's really not a good idea. You have a much higher chance of skin problems and skin cancer than most so you really need to be careful.

Who cares what others think about your skin? You'll be proud of it as you get older. I ...

Explain Skin Cancer In Easier Way!?

This is your presentation not ours therefore it is up to you to write it. Asking anyone else to do it is cheating.
You should know how much a 10 year old would understand, probably better than we would since you are a kid.
