Is Bone Cancer Curable?

Bone cancers can be both benign or malignant and either primary( original site) or secondary (from another cancer site like breast or lung). Treatment depends on the type of cancer & if the treatments help. Some do...some don't.They often respond to radiation, chemo, combination of both, and/or surgery.Bone cancer is very commonly metastasized from another area where the primary did not respond to treatment.This type of cancer often requires higher doses of pain medication.

Can You Completly Get Rid Of Bone Cancer?

Primary bone cancer, maybe, but if it's spread there from other parts (metastasized) it's not usually possible to get rid of, and at that stage, treatment is palliative only, and not curative (my aunt had bone cancer secondary to breast cancer, grandpa had stage 4 primary bone cancer - which isn't possible to get rid of either...).

Hello I have been having lower back pain for a while now. Its only on the left side of my lower back and the bone in that section is sticks out more than the one on my right side.
