My Friend Has Skin Cancer?

If it was diagnosed early and he gets it treated promptly, skin cancer is very survivable.
It's also very common, even among young people.
The standard treatment is to have the skin cancer surgically removed.
Assuming the cancer is not a melanoma that has metastized to other parts of the body, that's usually the end of it and the patient goes on to live a normal life.
