Is Stage 1 Leukemia Is Curable? How Is The Survival Rate?

Postby Denman » Fri Oct 06, 2017 4:28 pm

Hopefully you're not talking about someone you know/yourself. But if you are never fear. It's curable. Especially if it's caught in time. Chemotherapy is a big winner for leukemia. It's a painful recovery but it's recoveryable. (If that's a word lol)

According to Google,

Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) occurs more commonly in adults than in children, and more commonly in men than women. It is treated with chemotherapy. The five-year survival rate is 40%, except for APL (Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia), which has a survival rate greater than 90%.

Good luck!

Uh.....stage 1 is the mildest form so I would assume 100% cureable.
