It can be... My mom had three skin cancers and my grandpa has four skin cancers, and they're alive, but some skin cancers can kill... But mostly retards get it from purposely not putting on sun screen, and then going out into the sun all day everyday -_-

There are three types of skin cancer.

Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are not usually deadly.
You have some kind of surgery to remove the effected skin around the growth and you're done.
No chemo, no radiation.
They rarely spread and tend to be slow growing.
In almost every case, the absolute worst they can do is give you a bad scar.

Melanoma can be deadly and can spread to other parts of your body.
But even that if caught early enough can simply be cut out of your skin.

I had basal cell 4 years ago and my husband had melanoma 5 years ago.
We're both fine.
We just make sure to see a dermatologist once a years and keep an eye on our skin for new growths.
