Is It Possible To Have Lung Cancer In An Early Age?

Postby errol » Sat Oct 07, 2017 7:26 pm

Hi! I am recently experiencing chest and shoulder pain for the past month. It is located on the left side. I have read that it is a symptom of lung cancer. It is not that excruciating but rather annoying. It hurts when I drop down my left shoulder.I have read that it is a symptom of lung cancer. I am wondering if it is smoking related. I'm 24 years old and I started smoking at the age of 16. Please help.

You don't have lung cancer. Sounds more musculoskeletal. But yes, it's possible, but very rare.

Yes you are correct, however; it could be a host of other things also. The fact your a smoker definitely does not bode well but it could be a pulled chest muscle or a host of other things. I would highly suggest you see a doctor because your heart is also on your left, just sayin.

I would be extremely, extremely rare to get it at 24.
And 'chest pain' can be anything.
It's probably acid reflux.
