In The Uk Do Your Parents Have To Come With You For Vaccinations?

Postby Cort » Wed Jan 18, 2017 5:57 am

Aged 15.

For the cervical cancer and teenage booster vaccines.

I might have to go on my own because my mum will be busy. Do you think this is okay?

=P lol I'm a bit scared. Don't like going to the doctors but once I'm there it's okay.

Does anyone know if the nurse will notice or say anything about the self harm scars all over my arms? :/

No.
Many of these vaccinations are given at school when parents would not be present anyway.
Provided they have signed the consent form they do not need to be present as you get the jab.

Provided your parents have given prior written permission for the vaccinations they do not have to be with you.

Your scars might be noticed and questions asked.
