I'm 15 And Do I Have An Undescended Testicle?

Postby Maddocson » Sat Oct 07, 2017 11:39 am

My right testicle seems to be undescended. But I'm unsure because it's really close to my scrotum, but not quite. With some work I can push it down (somewhat painfully) but it'll go back up to where it is (kinda right where my thigh meets my groin, right in the corner).. When it's in this normal spot it doesn't hurt at all unless I try to move it.

A few questions..

Is it undescended? Are there health issues? What can I do about it?

Um... no. An undescended testicle would have needed to be taken care of as an infant. If you had a undescended testicle at 15, it would have died many years ago and would be of no use to you now.

You just have high and tight testicles. I do too. Its no big deal.

It sounds like it is.
You will probably haveto go to the doctor and let him check you out.

If you can handle it at all, its not undescended. Its descended less far than the other one, but it IS descended after all. It may go down further as you grow older: boys' genitals don't stop maturing until age 21.
So, i wouln;t worry about it at all.

yeah man, you better get that checked out.. i mean im not sure how it will affect your fertility, but aesthetically it may be a bit weird and i know for sure it increases the risk of testicular cancer.

a check up would be advised.
