How Would A Doctor Test For Bone Cancer?

Postby Blandford » Sun Sep 17, 2017 5:15 pm

In my novel, my protagonist was diagnosed with bone cancer. I already researched the symptoms for it and all that jazz, but I'm stuck on how to word the doctor testing her for bone cancer. How do doctors generally test for cancer, but more specifically, bone cancer?

Thanks!

A affected person?s indicators, actual examination, and results of imaging tests, and blood tests might propose that bone maximum cancers is latest. yet in maximum circumstances, docs could be sure this suspicion by using analyzing a tissue or cellular pattern under a microscope (a technique time-honored as a biopsy).

There's more than 1 type of bone cancer. I was referred for more tests after they saw my xrays.
