I recommend you go to the library and read a book titled "The China Study." This documents how a distinguished professor from Cornell discovered he could stop the growth of cancers in rats by decreasing the amount of animal based proteins and fat given the laboratory animals. He shows strong statistical correlations between diet and the incidents of cancers in human populations. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0...

To stop cancer some people have been successful in undertaking a medically supervised water fast instead of undergoing chemotherapy. I recommend a book by Dr. Joel Fuhrman called "Fasting and Eating for Health."

Regardless of his treatment choices, it's clear that cancer victims should consider avoiding the following foods:

- Dairy (strong correlations with tumor growth)

- Meat, fish, pork, eggs, and all other animal based products

- Sugar, oil, fat, refined carbohydrates

- MSG (fast food) and aspartame (diet drinks)

A cancer victim needs to eat a nutritious diet that is primarily whole plant based foods: http://www.amazon.com/Cancer-Survivors-G...

Dr. Neal Barnard provides you with important guidance.
