How To Draw Infant Babies?

Postby pallaton » Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:11 am

So I have a friend who is pregnant with twins, and also has cervical cancer. She has to have her babies taken out at 30 weeks and kept in incubators until they are big enough to survive on their own, and she has to start radiation and all sorts of treatments. This all happens at the end of this month, and she's (obviously) a bit down and worried. I want to draw her a picture, but I'm not good with babies, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a site that showed step by step instructions on how to draw babies. I'm not looking for videos, really, but actual steps with drawings. Anyone know any? I didn't have any luck with google.

This does a decent job of explaining the specifics: http://paintingdrawing.suite101.com/arti...

This youtube is ok: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnpusSOAx...

I might suggest a lovely soft image of a mother cradling twins . . . you could easily suggest the soft little shapes of two babies in their mother's arms without having to try to make them look like the EXACT twins.
Kind of in this style: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2241/2201...
