How Long Does It Take To Get Skin-cancer?

Postby aquilino65 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 4:10 pm

as u ppl kinow its march here in the mid-west its really warm for this time of year, so i've been tanning w/ baby oil on outside on my deck...and my dad has been saying ''Ur gonna get skin cancer if u keep this up'' and i tell him ''God its just march and I'm only gonna do this for spring break since i'm home''

i mean im not crazy i'm not gonna be..as i call it ''hard core tanning'' u no w/baby oil on for 2 hours or more like i am now like in July or August.

so naturally i'm not pasty white I'm like a white tannish color, and don't burn even w/ sunscreen on so how long would it actually take to get skin cancer ???

Obviously, the more you do this the greater the risk but you can get skin cancer from a relatively minor exposure.

If you are exposed to enough UV to cause your skin t o tan (even slightly) then you are exposed to enough UV to cause potential risk of skin cancer.

It actually can take tanning just once or twice. You don't notice it at first, but eventually you will see spots appear which will get darker and won't go away. Even here in the Midwest, the sun is still super strong this time of year. And maybe instead of tanning, you could work on your spelling and grammar :)
