Head Of My Penis Is Becoming White

Hi Dimiter,

White pigments on the head of the penis could be caused by various problems. Only an observation by your pediatrician or a pediatric dermatologist will provide you with a concrete diagnosis.

The most common causes may be

1. Adolescents who are uncircumcised have an increase risk of balanitis - an inflammation of the skin layers of penis due to infectious agents(i.e. fungus or bacteria), allergic reaction to chemicals, or poor hygiene.

2. loss of skin color called vitiligo. There's not alot of treatment options for this at the present time.

I definitely recommend that you get it checked by pediatrician or pediatric dermatologist immediately to avoid problems associated with balanitis.
