Ethical Issues Concerning The Use Of Stem Cells The Treat Diabetes?

There is a lot of stuff on the internet that is basically fat-shaming diabetics for causing their own diabetes with their bad diet and lack of exercise and general lack of moral fibre. A lot of this stuff is written by non-doctors, often with a supplement or diet or training plan to sell that they claim will completely cure diabetes if only people stick to it.

I read this interesting book https://tr.im/KfVg2 that gave me a lot of useful tips about my disease and also a different perspective on the best therapeutical approach. I think you should read it too.

Ethical Issues Concerning The Use Of Stem Cells The Treat Diabetes?

advances in stem cells research in terms of a person's own stem cells have gone a long way in averting the ethical issues of embryonic stem cells. There are some who still believe embryonic cells provide a better source, but ethically this sets up conditions where life is snuffed out for the sake of harvesting these cells. pro-embryionic use is argued that it would be from only those cells where there had already been an abortion. The issue ethically is that it would set a slippery slope ..

Ethical Issues Concerning The Use Of Stem Cells The Treat Diabetes?

One of the main ethical issues comes from certain religious fundamentalists who think that using human fetuses as sources for stem cells is wrong and that it devalues life.

Yet they ignore the fact that these fetuses are either left-overs from IVF treatment or from abortions and that it is better for them to be used to help another person than to be put to waste in my opinion.

After that, I can't really think of any other issues.
