Do Animals That Spend A Lot Of Time In The Sun And Subjected To Uv Rays Get Cancer?

Postby bink44 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 12:39 pm

Most animals have hair that protects and shields them from the harmful UV rays.
But if they DON'T have hair/fur, their bodies usually have a built in protection i.e. the hippo's secretes a thick, pinkish fluid to prevent their exposed skin from burning.
Nature takes care of its own.

You wear a hat to shade your face and your eyes from the sun.
I had spent all day at the state fair and didn't wear a hat.
The skin on my head was fine...except for where my hair parted.
I had a line sunburn on my scalp.
The rest of my head was perfectly fine!
