Dark Hair Colour Question?

Postby Beorht » Tue Oct 10, 2017 3:22 pm

helloooo I've been trailing the internet for some time now as I want to dye my hair and ive got the idea of the warm cool thing and what goes with what but I'm wondering about colour depth as all the sites say the same thing: don't go more than two shades lighter or darker and for example light eyes and skin should have light hair light skin medium eyes medium hair and dark eyes light hair anything so going by this there should be no one with light eyes and skin with dark hair but there are alot of beautiful people with very dark hair and light skin and eyes for example Katy Perry and Katie McGrath and they are both natural blondes, so how can you tell if you'd be able to pull off this look? Btw I would like this combo: I have cool colouring with pale skin and clear, pale green blue grey eyes I look good in red, black and royal purple. My natural hair is light brown borderline blonde, could I go to the dark side? Btw please don't refer me to websites

Dark Hair Colour Question?

Well, I have very dark brown hair and extremely pale skin, so I don't think you need to keep light hair.

You should get one of your computer nerd friends to get a pic of you and edit it online. See if if it looks okay (it'll probably look better when it's actually on you).

I think black would be easy to pull off though. Red might be nice too. I'm not too into the whole "dye my hair blue and pink and green and purple" thing, but don't listen to me.

I am naturally blonde and have blue eyes,if you do go a dark brown, dye your hair with a ginger or a red, or else your brown hair will go a karky green, which is horrible.

I dye my hair from blonde to brown all the time easily.

Also make sure you don't use any hair colour with bleach or ammonia. they work just aswell and are less damaging for your hair.

blondes tend to be less common so they are handled exotically or like a novelty.

Dark Hair Colour Question?

Many of the celebrities have wigs or hair extensions, because they've done so much damage to their own hair.

"23 years old Rihanna is well known for changing her hairstyle and hair colour on a regular basis and it looks as though all those treatments have finally begun to take their toll on her mane and perhaps her common sense." US Showbiz 2-18-12 Rihanna has reportedly paid $23,500 for an emergency haircut after hers was ruined in a sauna, to fly out hair stylist from L.A. to London..The Province 3-1-12.
She wore a long haired blonde wig during the Grammy 2-10-13.

Google: January Jones: "My Hair Is Falling Out In Clumps" 1-28-13 To quote Joni Mitchell, "you don't know what you got till your thick hair is gone.?

Kelly Osbourne went from hundreds different hair dyes, with pale complexion, but now have lavender or purple hair on Fashion Police, she was told if she changed her color again, she'll be fired.
But many a days, she would wear a wig or hair extensions.

Playing with chemicals is not like playing with clothes, or doing a manicure, there are penalties for playing chemicals in the lab. Even hair color experts at the salon are not rocket scientists, they do a bang up dye jobs to their clients or their own hair.

Chemicals can enter the body through the skin.

London, Feb 20, 2013 I've been saying that since 2009.

Hair dyes, which include home hair colouring kits and those used at pricey salons, are linked to deadly cancer-causing chemicals, warn scientists. In 2009 the Mail revealed that women who used hair dyes more than nine times a year had a 60% greater risk of contracting blood cancer.

A year later the European Commission banned 22 hair dyes which put long-term users at risk of bladder cancer. < < <

Dark Hair Colour Question?

thats actually pretty tough. I'm sorry but I have to use one direction references if I will explain this. Niall Horan (the blonde one) died his hair from dark brown to blonde. He had pale skin and blue eyes. He didn't look bad before, but it's what made him feel more comfortable. I have dark brown hair medium-pale skin and dark green eyes, and I get complimented a lot even though I don't dye my hair. so my advice is, if your not too pale then go for it!

have you thought about trying a wig in the colour you like.
That way you'll know instantly whether the colour suits you.
