Coffee Enema, What Are The Benefits? I Am New To This Whole Enema Thing.?

Postby Ager » Sun Oct 01, 2017 2:44 am

I am using it for setoxing.
During my first try, I find that in two minutes I am expelling the 1/2 cup that I put in and I wonder how is it you are to put in 1 quart?, I can't see it. Tell me the details of how to do this? How fast does it go in? How long should it stay in? Does coffee cause the bowel reaction? Please, Only the mature and knowledgeable need respond. Thanks

I agree with Skep Doc. There are NO detoxifying benefits to enemas, other than to flush out impacted waste. The same can be done by taking in more fiber and water, lessening the ingestion of processed foods, salt, alcohol and caffeine. That way you're making your body work the way it's supposed to. If you want a less toxic body you have to stop putting toxins into it.

I think where you made your mistake is you should take a one or two quart enema before taking the coffee. It is almost like a prep enema to empty the bowel. Than lie on your left side with your right knee pulled up to body. You should start the flow very slow and if you feel any pressure, stop and relax than restart the flow. Take as much time as you need and you should be able to hold an entire quart for ten to fifteen minutes before expelling.

Don't force it.If you can only do a little at a time, do so.I would also suggest something other than coffee..as it *may* irritate your insides.

For all the skeptics, don't even reply in to alternative health section. You are obviously not knowledgeable on alternative health and rather spout out ignorance on the subject. The facts are, alternative health has been around longer than modern medicine and worked the same if not better. So get over it.

hi.
I don't have personal experience with the coffee enema, but I did remember seeing some information on this at the site below.
Be careful with enemas.
You may also consider getting a colonic irrigation done at a recognized and reputable hygienic practitioner.
Yahoo search: colonic irrigation.
God bless and happy cleansing!

Coffee enemas are recommended in some alternative approaches to cancer treatment, and they are widely promoted on the Internet and by some alternative practitioners as a detox (detoxification) method. Proponents claim that coffee administered as an enema stimulates the liver and helps it remove toxins from the body. I have never recommended coffee enemas, but I won't write them off - at least not until we know the results of an ongoing clinical trial studying a treatment regimen for pancreatic cancer that includes them.

That treatment program, devised by New York physician Nicolas Gonzales, is currently the subject of a five-year study funded by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM), an arm of the National Institutes of Health. Coffee enemas are just one element of Dr. Gonzales' program, which also involves administration of pancreatic enzymes orally, taking up to 150 pills per day (a variety of dietary supplements) and a diet that emphasizes fresh, raw fruits, raw and lightly steamed vegetables and vegetable juice. The study is a small one, which probably means that it won't reveal whether coffee enemas or any other single element of the treatment plan are particularly useful for detox.

While there is no medical evidence showing that coffee enemas are useful, there have been reports of infections, dangerous electrolyte deficiencies and death as a result of excessive use of them, especially when combined with fasting. Coffee taken rectally can also be strongly stimulating and can produce dependence, just like coffee consumed in the usual manner.

I am both mature and knowledgeable.

There is no therapeutic benefit from a coffee enema.
The only use of an enema is to help with constipation.
"Detoxing" is nonsense.

You are welcome.

EDIT1 z z

I will reply to any questions I choose, and I am quite knowledgeable about many different types of Altmed, as well as several branches of science, it just that my knowledge is contrary to your faith based belief system.
Just because SOME forms of AltMed have been around for a long time does not make them any more valid, in fact less so, as they haven't progressed or adapted to new information. (Many many types of Altmed were "invented" in the last 50 years) If you are claiming health benefits from coffee enemas, then I'm afraid it is YOU who are ignorant, as there is NO evidence of any benefit. None at all. Zip. Nada. Bupkiss.

EDIT 2 carobygirl

Well, we'll see what the NCCAM comes up with, but so far after almost 20 years, and hundreds of millions of dollars, this embarrassing branch of the NIH has bupkuss for evidence of ANY Altmed. practice.
It turns out that the more rigorously you do the science, the less impressive the results of sCAM .
"Dr Nick" is a well known quack.

Andrew Weil occasionally has some intelligent things to say, especially about herbs, but he is mostly a shill for his own products these days, and is far too gullible about accepting other other woo woo claims without evidence.

If you want to truly detox you have to start from your diet. I used and oxygen based cleanser and then followed it with a liver cleanse. then finally did a parasite cleanse. I haven't felt better. I also had to not only change my diet but stick to it afterwards.
