Chest Pain And Weak/sore Arms?

Postby Gram » Mon Oct 09, 2017 7:02 am

Since about yesterday I've been having chest pain. It is not continuous, it stops and then it comes back. It got better today, and I don't really have it as much as I did yesterday. My arms hurt and are weak. I told my mom about my chest and she said if it continues then to tell her and she'll take me to the doctor. My mom does smoke, and I'm worried it can be lung cancer. What is it?

If you had lung cancer you'd most likely have night pains, abnormal weight loss, fatigue, persistent cough, etc...

It's rarely diagnosed before age 35 and most frequently occurs in those over the age of 45. If your arms felt weak and hurt (generally or in a specific area?) around the same time as your chest pains started then I'd go and get it checked out.

You may have done some exercise or movement (lifting, playing, etc.) and strained some muscles without realizing it until later.

These kind of strains take time to heal.

If you have a fever, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, you should see a doctor.

Anxiety can cause these symptoms.
I seriously doubt it is lung cancer.
