It CAN be a symptom of testicular cancer, but the tissue down there is pretty lumpy so it could also be nothing. It's a good idea to go ahead and get a prostate exam, because if there IS a problem early detection makes chances of recovery MUCH higher. Also, the survival rate for testicular cancer is really high (like 85% or something) so it's best to know right away and do something about it if necessary. Nearly all the testicular cancer related deaths are a result of people not getting it checked out.
