My friend has been diagnosed with leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Can my bone marrow be used if we are different ethnicities?

Only if yours is a match for theirs.

Ethnicity won't come into it if you are a match. If you are a minor, however, your parents might not allow you to donate.

Don't get your hopes up for being a match.

Yes. There is only one species of humans.
Homo sapiens sapiens (Yes the sapiens part is repeated in our genotype.)
Yes you do indeed an HLA match.
Rachel and April are correct as usual.

People who are bigots or white supremacists won't believe this,
but they are generally ignorant of science.
Our present single genotypical human developed in east Africa.
Then migrated over he earth from there.
