They can in theory since they have ovaries, but a doctor will not even consider it at her age.

There are lots of other things it can be, and probably more than 1 thing if it's not all from anxiety.

EG: acid reflux and a UTI. Or things like IBS.

Those do sound like symptoms of ovarian cancer, even though it could also be other things.
Most women diagnosed with ovarian cancer are found to be in the 50-60 year old age range, but there can be the rare case. Definitely tell her to get checked by the gynecologist, to make sure of what is causing her symptoms.

Ovarian cancer in a 15-year old is not impossible, but its so rare its close to impossible, and fortunately, these symptoms are not symptoms of ovarian cancer.
Random periods at age 15 are normal for many girls.
The bladder symptoms look like a bladder infection - that alone is a reason to see a doctor.
Vague digestive system problems are caused by all sorts of things, and its very difficult to find the reason for these types of symptoms - these symptoms may be uncomfortable, but they are not necessarily an indication that something is wrong.
The only other symptom that seems abnormal is troubled breathing, but it depends on what she means by trouble.
If she is irritated by cigarette smoke, that's completely normal.
She should focus only on the bladder symptoms when talking to her parents, and then if she sees a doc, she can bring up the other issues when the doc ask if there are any questions.

In general and not specific to this case . . Yes it is possible for a 15 year old teen to have a germ cell ovarian cancer . . in fact this type of cancer is commonly found in this age group. Cancer is often age specific and germ cell tumors of the ovary in girls and testes in boys is considered common in this age group. In this specific case, however, no one can really tell what is happening with your girl friend . . it could be an infection or any multiple other things . . only a complete physical by a doctor can determine what is happening with your friend.
She should confront her parents and explain that she is in pain and what is happening . . if they continue to ignore her medical needs than she can ask the school nurse to intervene so that she can get the medical attention she deserves.

There are also other types of ovarian cancers that can affect teens including sarcoma, but the germ cell is the more common.

Anything is possible. She's really young, so it would be unusual. Regardless of the potential for an ovarian problem she should be seen by the doctor regarding the pain she has when urinating. She may indeed have an infection, and it can certainly get worse and travel to her kidney if she doesn't get help. As far as the trouble breathing, she should stay away from the smoke, and it would nice for her parents to quit so to be healthy themselves as well as not exposing their daughter to second-hand smoke. Is she asthmatic? Periods can be random at her age, and I hope if you two are sexually active you are using some kind protection. Do you believe she may be pregnant? Her stomach pain should be addressed. It could be stress related or something else. I hope her parents help her with a trip to the doctor. If worse comes to worse, please have her go to the school nurse as that should help to get her help. Good luck to both of you - this is a lot of symptoms to have with no answers!
