i went to my doctor worried sick about an ulcer in my throat as i have worked in oral surgery my eye is very vigilant as i also smoke 15 cigs a day And have bad anxiety its turned out a bad combination

doctor said its nothing he asked his wife doctor to look at it and she said its ok also but as they know i worry so much the referred me to ent at ent he said it was an ulcer , i told him my gp said my thyroid was enlarged slightly the consultant said no its ok theres a small nodule here but 70 out of 100 women have them , i then went into fight or flight panic attack catastrophes saying omg is it cancer i was shaking and crying he said he was going to let me go but because i wouldn't believe him when he was reassuring me to put my mind at ease he would do a biopsy he took some sells out the lump .

he also sent me to xray with a form clinical notes said .....hss neck hlo r thyroid nodule very small right thyroid nodule and very small node level two

i of course think hes doing the test not for me but because he has doubts !! i googled node level two and i didn't like the look of the stuff that's been appearing anyone know whats going on????????/

Level 2 purely desribes an area in the neck. It is a very common area to get lumps because we have lots of lymph nodes in the neck which can sometimes get enlarged (most people call them "glands", such as in glandular fever). Most of these lumps are nothing to worry about. Thyroid nodules are also extremely common, thyroid cancer is actually quite rare.

ps. If follow-up is in october, he clearly isn't that concerned!

Save some time and request a second opinion. Ive been biopsied on a few occasions. just as a matter of course. So no, I don't think there's anything sinister going on. Given how highly strung you are they wouldnt try loring you into a false sense of security as it'd just make you lose all trust when you'd need to trust them the most.

It sounds like everyones vending over backwards to help you but, that in a strange kinda way, you're akmist seeking the worst possible outcome. As though knowing it's horrible makes the waiting for it to happen over with.

That a psychological issue. But please don't google stuff up. It works fine for technical ibformation, when it finds it through the rubbish out there, but there's a reason you visit a human doctor and not an iPhone at surgeries. Good luck

it ought to be something from an elementary vaginal inflammation to bacterial vaginosis. Is there any discharge and is it foul smelling or in yet otherwise colored out of your prevalent discharge? if so, it could additionally be a yeast an infection. you should attempt to apply an otc cream referred to as monistat 7, that works nicely for yeast infections yet your perfect solutions are literally going to come returned from seeing your gynecologist. i does no longer wait a pair of weeks, particularly if the monistat does not artwork. attempt to get in to work out the conventional practitioner quicker. good success.
