Blood After Urination

Postby niccolo » Wed Apr 20, 2016 7:03 pm

I am a 32 year old male that has been coughing(ordinary cold)for a week now. I just urinated and after my urination I noticed that blood came out of my penis. What does this mean? This has never happened to me before and I am very concerned. Could this be because I have been coughing very hard.

No degree of coughing can or should normally produce blood in the urine or post voiding.  In view of your age, it's unlikely to be anything serious but it should still be checked.  I've seen bladder cancers in men younger than yourself.  You should consult a urologist.
