Am I Opressed Because I Am A Male?

Postby Beag » Tue Oct 10, 2017 11:14 am

I am a freshman from New Jersey, I study Liberal Arts. I just happen to be a male depite this I also happpen reclusive, this is my nature. Other people do not like me because of this and they make harsh insults about me and attempt to harm me. When this happens, I tend to get very very angry and cannot stop thinking about horrible things happening to the people who want to harm me. i feel angry all the time now, and I do not know why.

Others than myself prefer to assume that because I am a male that I must adorn the ideal personality traits of human males. I have found that society protects females of all ages, though loathes myself because even though I am young I am still a male and therefore a murderer. If I were to enter a hospital of some kind and seek treatment for an ominous mass or lump somewhere on my body would I or instead a female with the same predicament be saved?

People treat young females differently than young males. Women are protected by society. There is descrimination in healthcare research. The Komen organization accumulates billions of dollars in donation money from various fortune 500 companies and mass media organizations, whilst many die from prostate cancer, of which there is miniscule funding or concern.

Males are portayed as murderers. I find this to be ironic as males are, and have been trained to kill and to be killed for thousands of years. Females are viewed as defenseless. For one to deem it unforvorable for a young male to defend himself against a female in any physical altercation would be idiocy in it's most lucid state.

In the Men's Liberation school of thought there is the idea of Liberation for Matriachry.Opressive chivoulrous behavivor Males are hurt by the gender role. I am comfortable in my shy sate as gentle is my nature. Though as of now I find myself in a state of dysphoria and indignance. I get the depiction that society expects for me to "be a man" of which is a derogotory term, while females are protected by society.

I had encountered others similar to myself in condition though far more vocal of their disposition and bitter whom ask had there occured a mass casulty incedent in which many females had perished; would such inconcievable injustice end?

Emotions are normal, but part of growing up is learning how to control them.

All that matters is that you like yourself. The rest of the world can go piss up a rope.
