Hey!

Okay, So I've just started my period and I am wearing pads. When I went to the toilet I noticed 2 bumps, one at the lower end of the vagina (by the anus) around the Labia Minora and one on the topper end of the vagina, around the same place by the cervix end. They are painful when pressed and the word to really describe them is a bit like a sore. I am MAJORLY worried because I had sex (with protection - and we "pull out") last weekend but I've only just realized them now - do you think it could be something to do with the fact I'm on my period and wearing tight knickers and pads?

P.S - When I had sex last week (this has only been my first couple of times) everything was all good, much better and pain free than the last few times and I didn't get cramp in the morning (any of the few times before that I got cramp because I am so "tight")

The period is all good, usual expectations and flow seems about right, no weird discharge before hand (I always keep an eye on stuff like that after sex) so I dont think it could be STD/I

I had the HPV cancer jab and cervical cancer does not run in my family - nor does any other cancer.

Please, please help me! I am extremely worried and because I've only had sex about 4 or 5 times, this is making me worry lots, I doubt it is a STD, because all the times I've had sex (4-5 times) its been with the same guy, and I don't think he'd have caught something inbetween (well I hope not!) because we've been doing this every weekend! (Woo?!)

It is possible you got a similar problem Like nappy rash in babies from the pads & being wet from your period.The bumps are they on your labia just below the entrance to your vagina near your anus & the other on your labia at the top of your vulva near your clitoris or are they inside your vagina.( not being personnel just trying to understand) because if there inside your vagina it could be caused by the condoms anyway you need some antifungul cream to help soothe it you can get it from your pharmacy or drugstore.if it is on the outside you could try using tampons & see if that helps.if it's from the condoms you'll have to use latex free.If it gets worse or if you are really concerned it might be advisable to see your DR. or practice nurse.Hope it helps & hope you will soon be comfortable.Good Luck.
